Windmill Gardens in Sumner, Washington
Windmill Gardens is caring for the plants of twenty seven different garden creators or organizations, including the plants for The Signature Garden. There is 23,000 square feet of space at this Sumner, WA horticultural haven that is dedicated to the 2011 Northwest Flower & Garden Show. There are at least 150 plants for each garden being forced and pampered, some gardens have more than double that number being nurtured. Three full-time Windmill Gardens employees will care for these plants up until the show. The gesture is huge and we are all very grateful.

Windmill Gardens has a bounty of experiences for its visitors. I had a fine lunch at the Windmill Bistro and purchased a white poinsettia at the garden center. On site there is also the Secret Spa & Salon, the Tea Madame, The Pond Store and lastly Blooms – a gift shop.
